Our job placement program includes career counseling, recommendations, and job placement assistance upon graduation. This program is designed to give you insight into the aviation industry from your first day in training. The helicopter aviation industry is a small and close knit community; networking and connections comprise a great deal of employment opportunities. When hiring instructors, Mauna Loa Helicopter Pilot Schools,  prefers to hire instructors that have graduated from our Professional Pilot Program. This provides a continuity of training meeting MLH standards along with local air and weather knowledge that can’t be beat. By maintaining a constant level of employment for our graduates, we are also releasing a constant flow of experienced and knowledgeable pilots out to the rest of the helicopter industry. Job placement within the company will depend on the school’s demand at the time of graduation as well as the individual’s performance and professionalism. Typically we have hired anywhere from 70% up to as much as 100% of our graduates. In any case, we will assist you in finding your first flying job.
