Housing Options
Housing is available starting at about $600 per month on the Big Island and Kauai; Oahu is slightly more. At our Kona location, we have dormitory style housing that are available at $450 a month. As it is in any locale, you’ll have better luck finding suitable accommodations if you remain flexible. We recommend you use resources such as CraigsList.org and Rentalsillustrated.com as well as the daily newspapers to get an idea of what to expect. Call the
office of the Mauna Loa Helicopter School on the island where you wish to train and we’ll advise you of the areas and neighborhoods in which you may want to focus your housing search.”
A popular option for students of our helicopter schools is simply to comb the classified
in the local newspapers to locate housing. We can send you the local
newspaper classified sections, or you can log on to these web sites
to see what is available.
