Is there anything particularly challenging or unique about your current job?

Sling Loading, Landing at High DA with a heavy load, Claim Staking, Navigation across a state as large as half of the Lower 48, Weather and wind.

Do you feel Mauna Loa adequately trained you for the real world?

Ryan Lehman - Helicopter PilotOverall yes. Excellent topography for Utility style work practice and great experience flying in windy conditions and varying DAs.

What did you like best about your MLH training experience?

The laid back atmosphere and the continuing improved organization. The terrain options available within an hours flight from the Kona Airport, Big Island base.
